A corn flour from South America which is used to make the maize flour dough also known as "masa de arepa" or "masarepa". This in turn is used for making arepas, pupusas, empanadas, hallacas, bollos and more.
A boiled pre-cooked integral maize flour which makes an insant dough.
It is quite different to Mexican corn masa and shouldn't be interchanged.
Ingredients: pre-cooked white whole-grain corn meal, iron, niacin, thiamin, riboflavin, folic acic.
