Char Man's Caribbean blend is truly unique. We use spices found in island cuisine and blend them with mangos, pineapple juice and hot peppers such as manzanos, guerros and habaneros.
This sauce is great on all types of food but especially shines with seafood and poultry. Try it with fish tacos, brush it on grilled shrimp or chicken.
Ingredients: Distilled Vinegar, Hot Peppers or Chilies, Mango, Pineapple Juice, Ascorbic Acid, Vitamin E, Vitamins A, Cane Sugar, Dried Onion, Carrots, Salt, Dried Garlic, Xanthan Gum,Peppers Spices, Annatto Seed for Coloring.
“Legend has it that the Char Man was an Ojai resident that was burned in a fire that swept through the valley in 1948 and terrorize the locals to this very day. Since we fire roast the habaneros and other peppers in our sauces we found the name appropriate.”
