The flavour of turmeric and other Moroccan-inspired spices is incredibly present the minute you take a whiff. If you're not a fan of that flavour, best look elsewhere. I'm not, but I will admit it does shine when added to curry. In that situation, the spices add to, rather than clash with, the meal. However, other than that, I just didn't find it versatile enough for my tastes, which was a disappointment because it does bring great heat, but clearly the flavours were very present. All of that aside, I would recommend it to anyone who likes Moroccan spices and wants a good punch of heat with their sauce.
