A favourite in Japan, the Shishito is eaten green, roasted and tossed in sesame oil and soy sauce. Like the Padron it is usually very mild with a rogue hot one every now and then.
Medium tall plants produce many pods which are 6-7cm long, emerald green ripening to red. Will usually require staking.
Approx 60-70 days to harvest.
