The Aussiest of rubs. When Ranch Hand foods were deciding to look for ways to couple their native US BBQ styles to the uniquely Australian palate, beetroot jumped immediately to mind. What could be more Aussie?
This blend is sweet and smoky but also versatile. It's gorgeous on pork or chicken or veg, fantastic on salmon and other seafood and perfectly suited to duck. Recently, we've found it is really special on game meats and now can't eat kangaroo with anything else.
Smoked, grilled or pan-seared, it works really well for anything that likes a bit of sweetness and still remaining balanced.
