The alfajor originates in the Moorish tradition of baked biscuits filled with honey. The Argentines perfected the recipe, using dulce de leche instead of honey.

Ingredients:  Dulce de leche (milk, sugar, glucose, preservatives), wheat flour (with added iron, folic acid, B1, B2, niacin), semi-dark chocolate coating (sugar, refined fat, honey, cocoa), powdered egg yolk, salt, raising agents, soy lecithin, flavorings. Contains wheat, egg, milk, soy. May contain peanuts, almonds.
