In their quest for the perfect hot sauce with a distinctive flavor to fire up their vittles, the old folks of Lynchburg realized a blend of hot peppers and local Tennessee whiskey was the answer. Our family is proud of this delicious hot sauce that's great on sandwiches, meats, seafood, pizza, omelets and in chili, soup, and sauces.


Ingredients: Habanero and Jalapeno Peppers, Vinegar, Salt, Spices and Jack Daniel's Black Label Whiskey.

"Old No. 7" (Heat level)

Some people conclude that all Habaneros are created equal, save for the Scoville count. Not so, really. Here the Habanero/jalapeno blend is perceptible and well balanced, with no decorative touches beyond that elusive "dash". Footnote: You know those hot sauces that seem as benign as Vegemite at first taste, then sneak around and bite you in the cajones? This is one of them.
