CHILE MOJO'S own Corn bread Mix.

Make the BEST cornbread which Chile Mojo's quick n easy Cornbread Mix.   Golden and fluffy on the inside with lightly crisp buttery edges.

* makes 6-8 serves
* Mix requires 1 cup milk, 2 eggs and 90gm butter.
* Best made in a cast iron skillet but any cake tin will do.

Ingredients: yellow corn masa (41%) [stoneground corn, lime (526) may also contain: antioxidant (927), stabiliser (460, 412), preservative (200, 282)], wheat flour, sugar, baking powder, dried capsicum pieces, sea salt, chile ancho, cumin.

Still the best cornbread mix around

I've dabbled in various other premixed Cornbread and even attempted my own but Chile Mojo's is still my go-to.

As usaul with Chile Mojo branded goods, the included variations and cooking tips are always handy to have on hand.

The best corn bread I have had

Whipped up this mix a while back and holy crap it was good. So much flavour in every bite and the additon of the ancho chile really enhances the flavour. Recently just purchased another 3 packs but I think I need to get more!

This stuff is brilliant!

I decided to make this cornbread when I had my last lot of Chili Con Carne. The bread is easy to make and only takes about 20 minutes to prepare. The taste is exactly like the delicious cornbread I had at El Juans in San Diego some years ago. It's so hard to get the correct ingredients at Coles - but sooo easy just to buy it premixed from Mojo. Just delicious when dipped in the chili con carne juice and even better next morning with some marmalade on it. HANDY HINT! The mix should be very sticky and don't over mix it. Make sure you have the pan well greased, or use baking paper.
