Papel picado ("perforated paper") is a decorative craft made out of tissue paper or plastic cut into elaborate designs. Common themes includes birds, floral designs, and skeletons.
This lovely string features Frida Kahlo whose art and ideals have have become synonymous with modern Mexican culture. She is featured on eight individual multicoloured banners which are strung together with a total length of 5 metres.
Each sheet has a different design and/or colour. Being handmade, the colours will vary!

Being made of tissue paper, it is best used inside, or in a protected outdoor space.
