Criolla Sella chiles are an heirloom Aji variety with a medium heat which are rare to find outside of their native region in the Andes of South America.
A must to try due to their high yields, small plant size and long producing season and lovely tangy-sweet flavour similar to citrus and mango.
Short slender pods (up to 5cm) conical shape with distinct point ripen from green to yellow and deep orange when mature. The waxy skin is smooth, taut, thin and the semi-thick flesh is crisp. Due to their thin flesh and skin, these chiles are also commonly dried and used as a flavorful spice.
